About Us
Early Childhood Development Forum (ECDF) is an initiative of DN Acharya FOUNDATION FOR CHILDREN AND WOMEN WELFARE (DNAF) registered under Societies Act XXI of 1860 bearing Regd. No KAM(M)/263/I/425. ECDF launched in October 2019 endeavours to work towards empowering children from all strata of the society and create a bonhomous environment for children in their early childhood years, so that they grow up to be sensible, happy and confident individuals. Early Child Development Forum family believes that it can be done only, if the stakeholders work in sync towards this goal.
The forum has its chapters in India and several countries of the world including U.K., Australia, Newzealand, Malaysia, UAE, Canada, Africa, USA, Nepal to name a few. The forum members believe in creating a better world for the children of the world and work towards this common goal with unity, camaraderieship leaving behind, anything that might come in the way that might deviate them from their goals. That is why the ECDF people are a CLAN that work toward enabling children receive the best care and education in their early years, by touching lives of those who work and take care of them (parents, educators and stakeholders).
Vision
Early Childhood Development Forum (ECDF) endeavours to bring to bring all Preschools, Child Care Centres, NGO’s working for children, Children Activity Centres, Parents, Early Years Educators, Companies dealing in Children Products and anyone related to children in their early years of growing, to come together – Brainstorm, Advocate, Interact, Exchange Ideas and to bring about a coherent and positive change in the domain Early Childhood Education and Care. It is a platform where we initiate, innovate and implement the best practices in ECE. The Forum essentially endeavours to assist children from the economically deprived sections of the society, both from the urban and rural areas, in attaining quality early childhood care and education.
Mission
Our Mission is to empower EDUCATORS, PARENTS, CHILDREN and OTHER STAKE HOLDERS by facilitating them with training programs, awareness campaigns, leadership programs, workshops and seminars, community activities, that would enable them to become positive contributors in the domain of Early Childhood Education and Care. We work towards capacity building of individuals, organizations and communities in delivering early childhood development and care programs and services and implementing the same in the most conducive manner. This includes global conferences and summits both physical and virtual, where large number of educators, parents and stakeholders benefit by participating in them.
Goal
Our Goal is to strive for the attainment of “stressless and playful early childhood years where every child enjoys all the rights they are entitled to and is in a safety net, and grow up to become well rounded individuals.” We want to touch the lives of all those who touch the lives and learning of children, be it educators, parents, policy makers, entrepreneurs, media and even the children themselves. ECDF provides children a platform to voice their opinions and take a leadership role through its program- Young Voices.
