ABOUT US
ECDF(Early Child Development Forum) is an initiative of the Debendra Nath Acharya Foundation for Children and Women Welfare(DNAF). DNAF launched ECDF on October 2019 with the aim of empowering individuals from all walks of life and fostering a nurturing environment for children during their early years. With active chapters both in India and overseas, ECDF has garnered a global membership of over 5,000 individuals. ECDF endeavors to work towards empowering children from all cross-sections of society and creating a bonhomous environment for children in their early childhood years, so that they grow up to be sensible, happy, and confident individuals. The ECDF family believes that it can be done only if all the stakeholders work in a synchronized way towards this goal.
The Salwan Education Trust (SET) is a name greatly revered in the field of education. SET was established in the year 1941 at Peshawar by Late Pandit Girdhari Lal Salwan, a great patriot who dedicated his life to the service of the nation. Upholding the vision and philosophy of its founder, Pandit Girdhari Lal Salwan, the Trust has established unprecedented landmarks in the field of Education over the last 80 years.
A man of great foresight, Pandit Girdhari Lal Salwan conceptualized the idea of sharing of facilities and resources between Public Schools and schools for the underprivileged. This beautiful Public – public-private partnership guarantees optimum utilization of resources in the four Salwan Schools at Rajendra Nagar Campus. Today, 8 schools are being run successfully under the aegis of Salwan Education Trust to become centres of excellence, synonymous with quality education today.

Purpose of the Symposium: Exchange of knowledge and professional development of EY educators, upgrade the teaching methodology of the Early Years educators and networking opportunities, attend valuable workshops on some very pertinent topics.
